Testimonials

Maryland Construction Network exists for the purpose of helping construction professionals succeed. MCN’s networking events, educational programs, and staff are singularly focused to achieve that purpose.

MCN is thankful our members frequently take the time to express their opinions about the work of Maryland Construction Network and what it means to them. Those words of support and encouragement not only let us know MCN is achieving its’ goals, they provide outstanding examples of why companies not currently members should “connect” to MCN.

In the words of our members:

It is always great to see Verna and Rob. You guys treat me like a long lost brother when we meet. Makes a difference in this cut throat business world of today.

Premier Concrete has been a member of Maryland Construction Network for over a year.  I highly recommend this group for its networking, education and project tours.  Every company, large or small, can benefit from MCN membership because MCN consistently provides opportunities to meet new clients.

I have been involved in just about all the associations, for a number of years. MCN is easily the best for value & networking yet. The officers are professional & very helpful with any of your needs. There are many programs to allow any size firm to join. What a novel idea! Great thinking! So stop fooling around & JOIN UP !!!

The Maryland Construction Network (MCN) continues to be as advertised – THE one stop source for construction industry news and information.  From their informative Educational Seminars to their premier Networking Events, MCN provides tremendous value at a great price.  I would recommend membership to any firm in, or associated with, the AEC community.

I just wanted to say “thanks” for all the work you do at Maryland Construction Network.

I recently attended a MCN “Learn 2 Know, Learn 2 Grow” educational seminar.  I went to the seminar to learn; not to network.  By chance, I sat next to two guys from a well-respected general contracting firm.  At the end of the seminar, I talked with them a few minutes and gave them a business card.   I just received a $ 25,000 dollar (labor only) contract with them.  And, by the way, I did learn a few things.

Prior to that, I was in negotiations with another prominent area GC.  After meeting the GC’s senior estimator at a MCN Direct Connect networking event; three weeks later I had a $ 84,000 dollar contract!  While I may have been awarded the contract anyway, MCN’s introduction definitely helped seal the deal. Not a bad return on $150.00 annual membership!

Again, I can’t thank you guys enough for the awesome events you host.

MCN is an organization that is run very professionally and has attracted very influential people in the construction industry. We applaud their great success in creating an environment in which you can meet some of the best companies in the industry. I highly recommend this organization to anyone with the same desires.

Waverly has belonged to MCN since its inception.

As a General Contractor and Construction Manager, information about market trends, and face-to-face relationships with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and support businesses have been vital to our success.

MCN provides arguably the most affordable platform for learning and building these relationships that can be found anywhere in Maryland.    On top of this, Rob and Verna always stand ready to answer questions about industry related issues and they help us make connections when we need them.

John F. (Jef) Eyring III
President, Waverly Construction & Management
